At Moorlands Tree & Groundcare, we are fully aware of the importance of looking after our planet. We take as many steps as we can to minimise our impact on the environment. All timber is used for firewood, unless it can be used for joinery. All chippings are used either for garden mulch, play areas, or it goes to biomass heating users. Even the sweepings at the end of the job that cant go through our chipper go to a recycling yard where they are turned into compost. We also take an environmentally responsible approach in our office. We don’t just recycle wood, we also recycle our paper and packaging wherever possible.

Biodegradable oil

We use biodegradable chain oil in our saws. This type of oil does not harm forests, gardens or waterways.
